GTEM EMI Cell

Environ is pleased to announce the activation of its newest EMI chamber, a Lindgren 1250 GTEM cell. If you are testing RF devices such as pagers, GPS receivers, portable phones, hearing aids, PDA’s, etc, Environ is ready for you.

Our new GTEM cell (Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic) cell is designed to provide an alternative method to an open area test site (OATS). Since the GTEM cell is fully closed and shielded from ambient noise there is no need to differentiate between EUT and ambient RF interference. This saves time and money!

Almost any EUT that can fit into a cube 1,250 millimeters on each side can fit into our new cell.

Whether performing compliance or R & D testing, consider the following:

• Unlike an OATS the GTEM works equally well in both emissions and immunity, you don’t have to move your operational equipment
• Less time to set-up measuring equipment
