Environ Laboratories Adds Temperature and Altitude Capabilities

 Environ has just completed the installation of an additional walk-in environmental chamber measuring 10feet wide x 9 feet high and 12 feet deep. It has a range of -100 degrees F. to +350 degrees. Since it is equipped with two 25 HP compressors along with a 30 HP boost compressor it can achieve a ramp rate in excess of 10 degrees per minute. This chamber, in addition to our other three walk-in chambers, allows for more flexibility in scheduling and larger test items.

An additional temperature altitude chamber has also just completed its final checks and is ready for use. It has inside dimensions of 4’ by 4’ by 4’ and is rated to an equivalent pressure of 200,000 feet altitude. The temperature range is -100 degrees F to 350 degrees F and both pressure and temperature ramping rates are fully programmable
